Customer Care Representative
Location: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $50,000 + Monthly Bonus Opportunity (up to $4,200 annually)
Position Overview
The Customer Care Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing order support, product guidance, technical assistance, and exceptional customer service throughout the order process.
Required Experience
Experience processing purchase orders and quotations
Manufacturing industry background
ERP and CRM system experience
3–5 years of customer service, Quote specialist, order management, inside sales, or technical support experience
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with product inquiries, applications, compatibility, and troubleshooting
Prepare and manage quotes, orders, engineering changes, and product modifications
Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure order accuracy
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to support customer needs and delivery commitments
Monitor order status, lead times, and shipments while providing proactive customer updates
Resolve customer concerns related to product performance, quality, and delivery
Support Sales Engineers with quotations, product recommendations, and documentation
Maintain accurate records within ERP and CRM systems
Qualifications
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
Experience with ERP and CRM platforms (SAP, Epicor, Salesforce, SugarCRM, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with industrial or custom-manufactured products
Knowledge of conveyor systems, automation, material handling, packaging, or related manufacturing industries
Experience with technical quotations and engineering change processes
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
