Will Call / Counter Sales
Direct Hire Placement with Benefit Package
Salary 50K (may vary depending on experience) Opportunity for commission/bonus up to 35k a year
Our Will Call Counter Salespeople maintain good working relationships utilizing effective verbal and written communications with all customers, co-workers and vendors by providing information, answering questions and selling merchandise over the counter in a friendly, courteous and professional manner with a positive outlook and a desire to serve. They are a member of the sales team and may perform general warehouse duties that includes picking orders for will call customers as well as moving and storing materials as needed.
Forklift Certification Required
Spanish Speaker a plus
Annual Allowance provided for steel toe shoes
Daily Responsibilities:
• Provide sales and support to walk-in customers at our will-call sales counters, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer inquiries and questions promptly and effectively
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, enter orders and quotations into system
• Accurately process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter.
• Take “ownership” of the will call area and work to grow the business
• Keep counter area and merchandise displays clean, neat, current, stocked and safely displayed.
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers
• Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Ensure security and control is upheld at this primary point of customer contact.
• Inform purchasing of inventory levels or stock depletions that could impact customer service levels.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers, including answering incoming calls, stocking merchandise in the warehouse, and pulling orders for delivery.
• Process payments for cash account customers.
• Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other departments when necessary.
• Assist customers with loading orders (able lift min 75 lbs)
• Notify Will Call customers when ordered materials arrive
• Manage Will Call orders and communications with customers
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
• Attention to detail required.
